First let's clarify the literal description of aluminum adjuvants when used in vaccines. I'd like to point out that comparing it to elemental aluminum is false and misleading.
There are three general types of vaccine aluminum adjuvants.
- Aluminum hydroxide
- Aluminum phoshpate
- Potassium aluminum sulfate
In another study injected aluminum adjuvants "accumulated deposit of 417 times the daily systemic intake" (Newton, D., Talbot, R., 2012). So it is evident that the two are not comparable.
Large quote for the Newton/Talbot study...
This model was used to predict that chronic exposure to aluminium would lead after 50 years to an accumulated deposit of 417 times the daily systemic intake. Whether or not we choose to relate the 17-fold disparity in these data to losses in sweat, this estimate is patently unreliable, potentially exaggerating the long-term accumulation.
